UAV Surveys

The use of drones or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) is becoming more popular in the surveying and mapping professions allowing the collection of large amounts of data quickly, cost-effectively and often in otherwise inaccessible locations.

Anyone operating a small unmanned aircraft (Aircraft 20kg or less) for commercial operation requires permission to operate from the CAA. We are fully insured and our pilot has their PfCO (Permission to fly for commercial operations) which requires the completion of a comprehensive training course and the submission and approval of an Operations Manual detailing procedures and safety.
